I’m genuinely asking this question because a lot of people want to get into the field and don’t know where to start.
Do you start learning C# and JavaScript? 💻 Or do you start by understanding the Business and CRM first? 🤔
Honestly, I believe that if you’re starting from scratch… don’t jump straight into code.
Start by understanding what CRM actually means. Understand how a company deals with its customers. How does Sales work? How does Customer Service solve problems? And what’s the role of Marketing and Field Service?
In other words, focus first on the Business Modules: Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service
And once you understand the Business well… start strengthening yourself Technically: JavaScript, C#, Dataverse, Power Platform, Power Automate
Then pick a Platform and go deep into it… like Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM 🔥
Because let me tell you something 👇 the strongest CRM Developer isn’t the one who writes code fastest. The strongest one is the person who understands the Business problem and knows how to turn it into the right Technical Solution 💪🔥
So if you’re still new to the field… ❌ don’t scatter yourself across everything. ✅ Understand CRM. ✅ Understand the Business. ✅ Pick a Platform. ✅ Then strengthen yourself Technically.
